Backstory:

Born to Aeolian and Anemi, Caelus was born in the Wind kingdom of Zephyr. As most dragons discover their elements at 7 years of age, Caelus discovered his at age 4. His father watched his son's progression with each session his element was more advanced than his fellow students. When he came to the age 9 his father surprised him with a family vacation at Quiet tropics, but were interrupted by apes on the backs of dreadwings, heading towards the Northern Mountains in hopes of losing their pursuers only to find more apes in the mountains and in a last desperate act to save their son they combined their furies, killing their attackers and themselves in the process, leaving Caelus abandoned in the mountains.

For the next four years Caelus stayed in the mountains near the range he lost his parents, unsure of what to do or where to go until a uniquely colored dragon along with a dark colored dragoness hunting down a group of apes, helping them find the apes cave they encountered a lightning dragoness to warn them of a larger threat in the cave, she led them through the cavern only for Terris to awaken the beast in cave they escaped by the assistance of a cloaked figure killing the beast. With nowhere else to go he followed them back South to the temple where he would take a life journey. Under the tutelage of Ignitus he continued his training best he could with no proper Wind dragon to help him harness his element, yet he was persistent and slowly started mastering his element. Over the years he had traveled with his friends across the realm battling the darkness that took away his family from him, he soon found himself falling for the lightning dragoness named Lynerus. Yet over the many battles he had a particular hatred for the dreadwings and their riders, but his hatred was overshadowed by his love for Lynerus. For five years they soon confessed their feelings for one another, during the siege of Warfang he watched as his love and her family were reunited as her father believed she was dead. Once the battle was over and the battlefield was cleared of enemies him and the others faced off against the golem of the deep, once the battle was won many wanted the arrest of the young group of dragons for the damage they have been causing around the world. With the exception of Lynerus, Spyro and Aquaris, they were captured by the FrostSpear clans, while the others formed a rescue party to save their captured comrades with the aid of Allan.

Once freed after a few weeks of imprisonment they were freed but were soon faced with a larger task, facing the Destroyer. Calling all Clan Leaders,and the Elder guardians, many of the students disliked the FrostSpear leader for many reasons, Queen Aeregina, of the Zephyr Kingdom recognized Caelus by the features he shares with his mother, she was sad to hear of her niece's death along with her husband's, but she was thankful he was alive. While they discussed a plan to slow down the Destroyer, Caelus and Aeregina caught each other up before the battle. Once Spyro and Cynder killed it, they watched in utter shock as Malefor re-animated the corpse and dragged it across the ring of fire, he blasted it with powerful gusts of wind but to no avail, with the ring complete he dread what was next as did the others, face Malefor. Coming to the floating islands the team came to his lair only to be tossed out by his magic, leaving Spyro and Cynder alone, she did not know what happened but could only watched the battle in the sky, feeling useless for not being able to help.

Once the world was saved him and Lynerus along with the newly mated pair Spyro and Cynder returned home. Though he was in line for the crown one day, he wanted a life with his love, Lynerus, After bringing Lynerus back home to a warm family welcome back, he asked for her father's blessing, Caelus married Lynerus a few months later. They stayed in contact with Spyro and Cynder, being their best dragon and dragoness for their wedding. After the wedding, they had some friends help them build a house outside the city, as they both got accustomed to the quiet life the temple had given them, staying in contact with their friends, but staying closely in contact with Spyro and Cynder.
